Rocky
Hill Hunts is offering a special cull buck hunt at a greatly
discounted trophy fees on a first come, first serve basis.
Our
definition of a “Cull Buck” is:
Any
mature antlered deer that DOES NOT possess a 13” inside spread
that has AT LEAST six points (but NOT MORE than 5 points on one
side), AND whose ANTLERS APPEAR VISIBLY TALLER than they are WIDE.
Bucks
that would be legal outside of the high-fenced area are NOT
considered cull bucks.

The first buck (picture above on the left) is a cull buck...
The
two bucks on the far right (above) are most likely culls...
(especially the one on the far right)...they likely have
Cull
Buck Fees:
$30 per inch inside spread
+$30 per point 1” or longer
+$30 per inch of the longest main tine (measured
from the bottom of the beam)
All
bucks maintain a $500 minimum price.
NEW REQUIREMENT: As of December 1, 2006, an additional $50 non-refundable, non-discountable deposit must be provided prior to hunting for any and each guest accompanying a hunter to the preserve.
HUNTING REGULATIONS EXCEPTION: These cull bucks are legal inside of the high-fenced area but not in Colorado County, TX overall. We have been granted permits by TPWD to take a number of cull bucks this season that we would otherwise not be allowed to harvest.
